Figure Skating Program
All Year Sports Galaxy, LLC offers Basic Skills Program for anyone who wish to learn how to skate correctly.
Basic skills*1-8 Ages 3-Adult
The “Basic Skills” are the fundamentals of the sport.
These eight levels of the program introduce the fundamental moves: |

Forward Skating
-
Backward Skating
-
Stops
-
Edges
-
Crossovers
-
Three Turns
-
Mohawks.
Upon completion of the Basic 1-8 levels, skaters will have the basic knowledge of the sport, enabling them to advance to the more specialized areas of skating.
Students will be evaluated at the end of the each month and will be given a recommendation for the next month enrollment. Certificates will be awarded to all participants.
All students are required to purchase U.S. Figure Skating Insurance for $7.50 (This is one time additional fee, but good until August 31, 2009) Rental Skates free of charge!!!

All Year Sports Galaxy is proud to present Stanislav Timchenko.
Stanislav was born in Moscow, Russia. By the age of three, he began skating and at age fourteen was competing on international level. Throughout his career, Stanislav received national and international recognition for his skills in figure skating. He received tremendous acclaim and placed in a multitude of international skating competitions. His performances were often highlighted in news reports around the world. In 2005, following his successful international figure skating Career, Stanislav earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from the Moscow Institute of Physical Culture. He taught at three elite Russian clubs, working as figure skating instructor. Stanislav instructed at many world class training facilities for top figure skaters. He was employed as a figure skating instructor at the Olympic training center in Novogorsk, Russia. This center offers arenas for athletic training in thirty-two sports, including figure skating. Some of the top figure skaters in the world trained at Novogorsk. In addition, Stanislav Timchenko acted as a figure skating instructor at the Professional Club, Spartak, in Moscow. Most recently Stanislav performed with world-renowned skater Igor Bobrin, in Moscow on Ice. |
